[00:00:00] I am back with another bonus episode. That means a listener asked a juicy question and I’m here to share my answer.

[00:00:36] Today’s question is, I am intrigued by the Asana Project Workspace. Hmm. So I’m gonna answer this question with a question. If you’re feeling intrigued and you’re feeling curious, what might be the next step? So when I meet with someone about project management, I really try to figure out what feels sticky about their business right now.

[00:01:04] Because sometimes you have a system that’s working really, really well for you, but you’re curious about this other tool that someone else is using, and that alone is not a reason to change your system and move to another technology tool. But if there’s something about your system that isn’t working well, then let’s shop for a solution for a tool that could work better.

[00:01:29] Because at the end of the day, there are seasons of business that one tool is really suited for, but then your business grows and your goals change, and it makes sense that we need to grow into new tools for the next chapter of business. That’s totally normal. So we don’t wanna move into an Asana workspace just because we saw that someone else had one and they loved it.

[00:01:53] But if there is something about your business that’s feeling sticky, I’d love to chat about it and I’d love to help you find clarity if Asana could solve the problem. Asana is not a match for absolutely everyone, and there are plenty of times where people have come to me with a coffee chat question and we’ve talked about their systems and I’ve told them to stick with the systems they have, or even made a matchmaker connection and steered them to another tool that I think would be a better fit.

[00:02:22] But if you are feeling intrigued, if you’re feeling curious about project management and Asana and what it could do for you, here are some options. number one, you could hop on a coffee chat with me and ask, and I will open up a brand new Asana workspace and show you what it could or couldn’t do for your season of business.

[00:02:43] Option number two, I have a free course preview that gives you a brand new shiny, just recorded a new version this year, visual walkthrough towards what Asana even looks like. I can’t set it up exactly for your business because it’s such a custom experience, but you can get a visual look in that short video walkthrough of if this looks like something that might make sense to your brain, because we’re all wired a little bit differently.

[00:03:13] And those are really my two suggestions. I also have a video that I’ve done, as a guest training for someone else on what it might look like to use Asana as a teacher in the classroom or as an administrator.

[00:03:26] I’d be happy to share a video link to that, I can put it in the show notes of this episode. But most of us here are thinking about the Asana workspace and how it could solve a problem for us in our teacher business, and that’s exactly what my free course preview is for. So even if you don’t end up purchasing the course, that’s totally fine,

[00:03:45] the free course preview is just that it is free and it is a video and it is a walkthrough. It’s a safe space where you can get an idea of what Asana even is and what it might look like for a business like yours. And if you pop through that visual training and have a burning question that that training didn’t answer, hop on my coffee chat calendar and let’s chat about what you’re curious about specifically, because sometimes that’s the best way to get an individual answer to your next step

[00:04:17] and what tool is a best fit for you. So if you’re curious about Asana and intrigued about that workspace, you’re in the right place. I’m so glad that the internet connected us, and I hope that one of those two steps is helpful for the next step in your journey.

[00:04:34] Do you have a teacher business question that you’re hoping to hear answered on the podcast? I’ll leave a link for you in the show notes.
